Natalie Dwyer

Natalie Dwyer is our Co-Director, Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader for Group A. Group A currently runs Monday and Tuesdays.

She brings a deep love of children, with a strong passion for building meaningful relationships with children and families. She values creating a warm, connected and supportive kindy community.

Outside of work, Natalie is resilient, organised and empathetic. A fun fact about Natalie is that before having children, she spent many weekends riding her Harley and even travelled through England and Europe on motorbikes for six weeks. She is excited to be part of this special community, which already holds family history for her, as her in-laws were committee members at the kindy back in the 1980s.

“I love the beach, chocolate, the colours purple and green, and I support the Geelong Cats! My favourite part of the day is hearing all the wonderful stories children share about their adventures!” 

Co-Director/Group B Teacher

Terese Cosgrave

Terese is our Co-Director and Early Childhood Teacher for Group B, which currently runs Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Terese has been part of our Kindy for many years, working behind the scenes and in an relief teaching role before stepping into the Group B teacher/Co-Director role in 2026.

“I am proud to be part of Tingalpa Kindy, where our community-based, not-for-profit philosophy keeps children at the heart of every decision. I value the strong partnerships we build with families and the supportive community that makes our kindy so special.

I have been passionate about early childhood education since beginning my teaching career at the age of 20. My journey has taken me from my first teaching role in a preschool in NSW to Vancouver, Canada, and finally we made Brisbane our home just over 30 years ago. I have taught across a variety of kindergarten and long day care settings, where I have enjoyed creating learning environments filled with love, laughter, and meaningful experiences for children.

For six years, I worked as a Licensing Officer with the Department of Education, supporting kindergarten services to deliver quality programs and meet regulatory requirements. In 2012, I returned to teaching and have loved being back in the rewarding world of early childhood education ever since. Outside of kindy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, keeping active, and travelling.”
